Contributions to uftrace (2022 Open Source Contribution Academy)
uftrace is an open-source tool that traces and analyzes the function call flow of programs written in C/C++ and other languages. Through the 2022 Open Source Contribution Academy, Joonho Seo added a size field showing each function's size to the report command and to the report mode of the tui view, and updated the documentation to match. He then took on an issue opened by a maintainer (#1538) and made the -Z/--size-filter option, which drops small functions from a recording, work in regular recording mode without dynamic tracing. All four pull requests he opened between July 2022 and January 2023 were merged into the main repository.
