AI-Based Automated Simulation and Test Evaluation Framework for Advanced Control VPD Technology

SCOPE, a web framework for LG Electronics' VPD work, still left engineers changing parameters by hand and rerunning simulations, and doing component substitution, pass/fail checks for each test item, and report writing manually. This project automates those steps along four lines: automatic circuit simulation with LLM-based pass/fail judgment per test item, a parts library with component substitution, an AI agent-based circuit optimization pipeline, and LLM-based automatic report generation. Joonho Seo is the project's working lead, carrying out the research overall and serving as the day-to-day contact with LG Electronics. The project runs from March 2026 to February 2027 and is ongoing; after the interim review in September 2026, the team is now building the AI agent-based optimization pipeline.
