Building Web Framework Infrastructure and Expanding Services to Improve the Utilization of Control VPD Technology

LG Electronics' VPD organization runs a web framework called SCOPE that, at the start of this project, could only convert circuits; simulations still had to be repeated locally, and its simple web architecture raised security and stability concerns as the service grew. This LG Electronics industry-academia project (Mar 2025 to Feb 2026) first hardened the infrastructure through a 3-tier architecture review, security checks with ClamAV and Lynis, and Docker-based deployment with health checks and automatic recovery. It then built the SCOPE Circuit Simulator, made up of a ReactFlow-based web circuit design tool (Circuit Library) and a Test Bench that runs Twinbuilder black-box simulations, visualizes the results, and generates reports automatically. Joonho Seo was in charge of all development work on the project. The final presentation reported that the SCOPE Circuit Simulator was deployed to the server on January 14, 2026 and then ran for about four weeks without downtime.
